The Plaza made it’s grand return to Dumfries town centre for its second venue takeover of the abandoned belly of Dumfries with Christmas-themed musical delight from the shadowy edges of winter.

poken word patron and published writer Steven Thomas performs an array of poems and monologues accompanied by atmospheric musical compositions fit for a film noir soundtrack. The poet is joined by his partner to form the two piece that preaches realism in storytelling through the combined arts of poetry and music.
Eighteen-year old, Kate Kyle, who’s unique blend of soulful country and powerful voice is establishing herself in the Scottish music scene. The Dumfries Country artist has been shortlisted for the prestigious BBC Radio Scotland Songwriter award.
